I'm left handed and I've been teaching myself to knit and loving every minute of it. However, I've bought a book on afghans that are knit on circulars. I'm really having a hard time visualizing how this can be done. Everything I've read so far says the first stitch is what joins or starts the circle. How do I make it flat.
