Hi! I'm a beginning knitter, learning from the internet. I've learned how to knit a row and purl a row, but whenever I try to do both stitches in the same row, I have a problem. After I finish the row, and switch needles to begin the next row, instead of a nice neat row of straight loops on the needle, I have all sorts of criss-crosses. Is that normal? I can't see how it would be, but if so, how do I go about knitting and purling the NEXT row? Please help! :o) ~Emily
