Anna Marie,

(1) don't type in capital letters :) (it's considered rude--like yelling when you talk)
(1) your problem is easy.
(a) if you're using two needles, transfer stitches, one by one, from the needle they're on to the empty needle--quit when your yarn is hanging between the two needles. (it will look like you're in the middle of knitting a row--which you now are.) Now just continue knitting, but remember that the yarn always comes from the right needle when you are about to make a new stitch.
(b) if you're using a circular needle, transfer stitches, one by one, from one end of the needle to the other end--quit when your yarn is hanging between the two needles. (it will look like you're in the middle of knitting a row--which you now are.) Now just continue knitting, but remember that the yarn always comes from the right needle when you are about to make a new stitch.

best wishes,

Ray

: HI, MY NAME IS ANNA MARIE AND I'VE ONLY BEEN KNITTING FOR 2 WEEKS. A FRIEND AT WORK OFFERED TO TEACH ME. I'VE ONLY KNITTED ABOUT 2 INCHES AND WHENEVER I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT MY FRIEND TAKES THE YARN OUT FOR ME SO I CAN START AGAIN BUT TONIGHT IS THE EVE OF THANKSGIVING AND I WON'T SEE HER UNTIL MONDAY. SO I TRIED WORKING ON IT BECAUSE IT'S GOOD PRACTICE FOR ME UNTIL I'VE IMPROVED ENOUGH TO REALLY KNIT SOMETHING. BUT I SOMEHOW ENDED UP WITH MORE THAN MY ORIGINAL LOOPS(20). I FINALLY TOOK THAT OUT AND GOT BACK TO 20 BUT NOW MY YARN IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROW INSTEAD OF THE END TO START TH NEW ROW! CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME GET THIS STRAIGHTENED OUT?

: THANKS SO MUCH!
: ANNA MARIE
