Your question is confusing. I don't know what it means to say that you can't get past the third row. With knitting,no matter how tightly it's done, it's always possible to get past the third row. Are you sure you are making proper knit and purl stitches? Why not have someone at a local yarn shop watch you knit? I'll bet that you're doing something odd.

: Hi i used to knit before when i was 10 that was 10 yrs ago.well i decided that i was going to knit my son a scarf and the only problem is that no matter how loose i make the stitches it just keeps getting really tight.i cant get past the 3rd row sometimes only the second...if you can help me it would be apprecitated...
