How do i garter Stitch?

Ok, i just bought a kit on how to knit, but the instructions on the garter stitch, i can't do. Does anyone have a site that they know of that shows how to do this simple stitch? I really do wanna learn how to knit, but seems as though it might be hard for me to get the hang of it :P darn
