After making a stitch and transferring it from the left needle to the right, you have to push the left needle back so that all the stitches are still on the tip of the needle. But if I try to do it with my right index finger, like in the videos, after doing it for some time, it ends up hurting my finger. I imagine that means I'm doing something wrong. So I have to pause every 3 stitches or so to pull up the left stitches and push down the right ones. Which is time consuming, to say the least. What, oh what should I do? I'm using size 10 aluminum needles, by the way. And I'm trying to do it the continental way. Ok, thankies! Bye bye.
