I'm just beginning to knit and I'm finding it very hard to put the needle into the front of the stitch on the knit row of the stockinette stitch. I want to know if there is anything wrong with putting the needle in the back of the stitch. I'm beginning a baby sweater and don't want to continue this way if it's wrong.
