In a pattern I knitted for my four grandchildren, there were places where it instructed me to "cast on" four or five stitches in the middle of the work. The same pattern had other places where it instructed "increase" and/or "decrease", so this "casting on" must be something completely different!
How does one cast on stitches when there is only the yarn ball tail available? I guess it would be called, "One-Tail Cast On"? :)
