I'm a little confused, maybe someone on this site can help me.
I have a book that recommends Rowan yarns for the patterns it includes. For example, 5 50g balls of DK tweed to make a cussion cover . Now, I'm in Canada, and apparently these balls of yarns cost $10-$14. How can someone spend $50 on making one small cussion cover? Many of the clothing patterns call for 8-10 balls of Rowan. I can't spend $80 on one sweater, not to mention the time. Is this right, or am I missing something?
